导师专业性强。中山大学章明秋课题组的导师专业性强,章明秋是化学与化学工程学院教授、博士生导师,现任中山大学化学与化工学院材料科学研究所所长、“聚合物复合材料及功能材料”教育部重点实验室主任,兼任中国材料研究学会常务理事、亚澳复合材料协会常务理事、广东省复合材料学会理事长、以及国内外许多专业学术期刊的编辑,具有极高的学术水平。章明秋研究领域为高分子材料,高分子共混物和高分子复合材料的结构与性能关系,表征技术,功能化应用等。
我国2007年开始研发的航天飞机自我修复材料!
在国内,中山大学化学与化学工程学院容敏智教授和章明秋教授带领的科研团队也在这一领域开展了研究。容敏智教授表示,这一技术其实是大胆的仿生尝试:“事实上,自修复,或称自愈合是生物体与生俱来的一种能力。我们身边的动植物,包括我们自身,遭受微小损伤后,无需采取任何措施,即可自行愈合。自修复型高分子材料正是受到大自然的启发,模仿生物体损伤愈合,通过物质补给或能量补给机制,使材料的微损伤能够得以自动愈合,从而消除隐患。现在,这一领域正成为材料科学与工程领域新兴前沿课题。” 容敏智教授指出,最近报道的这项新推进成果,是该团队在2001年发明的“微胶囊”修复材料基础上的一个发展。“简单来说,微胶囊模式自修复体系就是将修复剂微胶囊化,然后埋植入树脂基体中,当基体受到破坏时,微胶囊随着破坏并释放出修复剂到裂纹断面,随后修复剂发生聚合从而把裂纹修复。微胶囊容易大量制备并且微胶囊化后的修复剂能保持原有的活性。”
